ARTIST :JOHNNY MADDOX

TITLE :"The Hurdy Gurdy Song/Old Fashioned Love"

YEAR/LABEL :1959 LONDON HLD8826

Immensely successful musician/songwriter/producer. WC Handy once called him "the white boy with the coloured fingers". Side A features the Jack Halloran singers and side B the Rhythmasters. Stunning LONDON demos. It was common practice in the 50s and early 60s to release demos on two discs with the flipsides having no labels. The labels also had different colour than the regular release (except maybe DECCA). These are indeed, extremely rare to come by! Note that index number (rubber-stamped on) and duration (written on with biro) was common practice.

DESCRIPTION : Vinyl A is VG+ and vinyl B is EX-.  Labels are clean bar a couple of tiny scuffs Disc A. Generic khaki sleeves are Good and VG respectively.
