JOHNNY MOPED - DARLING LET'S HAVE ANOTHER BABY // SOMETHING ELSE / IT REALLY DIGS CHISWICK NS28 UK 7" 1978 WITH ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE AND WHITE LABELS MATRIX A: NS-28-A1 MATRIX B: NS-28-B1 A very strange and unique record as it is practically a white label test pressing of the NS27 Johnny Moped 'Darling, Let's Have Another Baby' E.P. (second 7" release by early punk band on historic punk label Chiswick - see the excellent book 45 Revolutions by Mario Panciera for full details on band and their releases). But with a different code and different matrix to the actual release. What is strange is the fact that the NS28 code on the label is known to belong to the unreleased record 'Streetfight' by the Oi punk band who's name I can't spell on Ebay (well, I'll try: 'S * * * driver') but I have never seen an actual copy of this legendary record so I can't compare the NS28 matrix code to the one here. I was hoping this to be the unreleased record by the band with the unspeakable name but sadly it's not. Just a Johnny Moped white label with a different and unused code. I'm not good in noticing different mixes so probably the NS28 test pressing is a different version or mix to the actual NS27 release but can't really tell. The lucky buyer can discover. A great punk and new wave collectable in very nice condition CONDITION (I don't use higher than ex/ex) cover: vg+ vinyl: ex P&P Registered (with insurance) through ELTA (Hellenic National Post) GBP12.50 in Europe / GBP14.50 for all other countries except USA* / GBP6.50 to Greece * For USA only it will be through Courier Service GBP45.00 - ELTA services from Greece to USA is temporarily stopped due to the new Tariffs and until the terms are cleared so at the time shipping to USA is possible only through Courier service which is very expensive * I'm a collector myself so strict packing policies applied * I combine shipping, please wait for my combined invoice before payment, thanks.
