Seriously rare and somewhat mysterious. One of the earliest singles by JO’K. Johnny as well as the Dee Jays are credited (see scan) with backing the Sydney- based singer Richard Gray on both sides here. The mystery-to me- is why O’Keefe, who was busily inventing Oz rock’n’ roll at the time (BillyGoat, I’m Still Alive, Lawdy Miss Clawdy etc) would have got mixed up with a single like this -It isn’t rock ‘n’ roll- Both sides are more like up tempo ballads. Neither the record or it’s track listing or the circumstances of it’s recording are mentioned in John Bryden- Brown’s standard biography of J O’K. Was he a friend of Richard Gray or something? I dunno. If anyone does know- i’d be interested.
There is some crackle throughout but there are no problems with skips or jumps of the needle on either side. Visually the (a) side is EX but the (b) side has some light to moderate marks and is VG. The label is EX. In a 50’s company jacket.

VERY GOOD: Played quite a few times, no real deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras may show some amount of wear and tear.
GOOD: Showing considerable wear and tear. Reasonable, playable sound. Cover, label, extras may also display considerable deterioration.
FAIR: Sound quality may have deteriorated. Cover, label, extras may also display significant wear and tear.
