GRADING:

Everyone seems to have their own grading system; play-grading standards are utterly subjective: one man's tolerable surface noise is another man's unbearable, degrading clatter. This one should be use only as a good indication of the condition of the records & the covers considering some of them are over 25 years old.

Near Mint (NM): Vinyl has high gloss, no surface scratches and would produce minimum to no background noise.

Near Mint (NM): Covers are in perfect condition, no signs of wear. (See photo)

Excellent (EX): Vinyl remains very bright and shiny, has very few lights surface scratches only, just a little background noise.

Excellent (EX): Cover colors are still bright and strong, may have some light side friction wear. (See photo)

Very good (VG): Record has some light visual surface scratches and friction mark on both sides; some few clicks & crackles noise with light background noise. Vinyl remains bright and shiny.

Very good (VG): Cover colors are still bright and strong with some side friction wear and light circular surface ring and friction wear. May have some minor seam splits repair. (See photo)

Good  (G): Record has some scratches and or friction mark and or fingerprint on both sides, has some background noise with click & crackle noise, which will not distract significantly from the sound. This is an average record, not the best, not the worst. This record is not in the condition that diehard collector’s want, nor is it a desirable investment, but it is guaranteed to be enjoyable.

Good (G): This cover has noticeable ring and friction wear. May have some seam splits or side friction damage & repair. This is an average cover, not the best, not the worst. (See photo).

FAIR (F): Record has scratches; friction mark and fingerprint on both sides, have background noise with click & crackle noise, still plays all the way true without skipping. Vinyl have lost some of is shiny surface. This record has been well used; it is much below average. Used only for a rare or scarce record. A good cleaning could probably eliminate much of the click and crackle noise and improve the sound, but I don’t have the knowledge or the proper equipment to do it.

FAIR (F): Cover is dirty, has noticeable ring wear and cover rubbing friction wear & side friction wears, seam splits with repair. There is some writing (name & date with pen blue ink) and or other blemish. There is some residue from price sticker on front cover. This cover has seen better days. (See photo)
