Every Tuesday night (European time) I will offer old punky records. My name is ‘punky_music’
This rarity from 1978 was only released in the UK for the UK market. The first 7” is probably the hardest to find single by famous punk son JOHNNY THUNDERS. You are bidding on the original first pressing, issued on ‘Real’ records in 1978. It is also the very first label release (catalogue number ARE 1). As a bonus you get the O-R-I-G-I-N-A-L (not photocopied) advert for this record. This beauty is in tip-top condition (not folded, no splits, no dirtying, no tears) and is taken from an old NME magazine from the same year (1978). There is ‘PLAY REAL LOUD’ printed on both sides of the original label etiquette. ‘Dead Or Alive’ is excellent `77 punk, topped with fantastic guitar riffs and superb vocals. eBay prices: $55 + $70 + $50....but this one includes the original advert. The equally great song on the flip named ‘Downtown’. Both tracks were produced with the help of Steve Lillywhite who also produced records from bands like ULTRAVOX (Rockwrok + Young Savage), U2 (Sunday Bloody Sunday + New Years Day), XTC, SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES and so on.. Maybe your only chance!!!

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
Payment / Bezahlung: via PayPal. All orders which exceed a value of £20 or €25 will only be sent by registered mail. This requires the buyer to pay an additional of £2 or €2,50. All winners from Italy must pay for registered mail. Deutsche bitte per Banküberweisung.
