JOHN'S CHILDREN - The Love I Thought I'd Found b/w Strange Affair (UK Columbia DB 8030) (PS)
Here's a VERY TUFF one to find - a DEMO copy of the 1966 debut 45 by this legendary UK quartet, which includes the near impossible to find promo-only PICTURE SLEEVE. Hardly ever turns up for sale in it's homeland, and virtually NEVER seen here in the states. While the PS has a fair share of minor flaws, due to the thin, fragile nature of the slick paper used, it is still in decent, presentable condition (see pix included here)
Vinyl = VG/VG+ visually - VERY GLOSSY vinyl, w/ faint, lite wispy marks/hairlines (NO scuff marks), NOT AFFECTING PLAY - plays MUCH BETTER than it grades, w/ NO pops/clicks + ZERO background noise - an EXCELLENT listen
Labels = A-OK, w/ faint spindle marks by centre hole
PS = some ring wear (not extreme), some vertical + diagonal creasing, for the most part of a soft nature, a 3/4" (1.90 cm) thin tear from left edge on front only (see pic), a 1/2" (1.27 cm) thin tear from top edge on front only - see pic, lite crinkling along top edge, a 1" (2.54 cm) thin split from top corner on left edge, a 4" (10.16 cm) very thin split in middle of bottom edge
