JOJI YUASA: OBSCURE TAPE MUSIC OF JAPAN VOL.1 - AOI NO UE (OMEGA POINT – JAPAN 2004) LP ****** condition (record/cover): MINT / MINT ****** rare first ever release on lp, in a limited edition of 150 numbered copies, of two beautiful early compositions by joji yuasa, a 1961 piece for voice and tape and a 1975 piece for tape. with insert. here is a description lifted from the soundohm catalogue: “ultra limited vinyl edition of 150 numbered copies by the famous composer joji yuasa's legendary earliest example of musique concrete “aoi-no-ue” (1961) and his final electronic music composition “my blue sky no.1” (1975) made at nhk electronic music studio. the sound of “aoi-no-ue” is made from voices of japanese traditional noh theater. “my blue sky no.1” on the other hand was made from only clicks and pulses as sonic sound sources. both works are world premiere issues as obscure tape music series and have never been released before.“****** shipping is mainly done by ups (although other options are available) and the costs are about 10/16€ to western europe, 12/20€ to eastern europe, the usa and canada, 16/24€ to russia and japan and 20/30€ to the rest of the world (exact quotes on request). winning multiple items can make you save on postage. preferred payment is paypal, although other options may be available. thank you for looking.
