Vee Jay Records VJLP 1085 Released February 16, 1964. This is an original record album release with the dark purple cover.

Vinyl: VG+  Shiny, glossy, light scratch on Side 2. Nice black colorband labels with Vee Jay in an oval; no spindle marks. Matrix Numbers engraved in the dead wax, carry out groove or runoff margin areas: 64-3852 6295 URJ & 64-3853 6295X URJ
Cover: VG+  No writing, no stickers; very slight surface & ring wear on the dark purple front. Some edge wear & corner bumps - print on title edge is fine. Off white back is clean with no foxing, however, does have a water stain on the lower right edge. New acid free inner sleeve. Album will come in a Mylar sleeve. Frank Ifield toured the UK in 1963, supported by The Beatles. On February 16, 1964 while Vee-Jay Records temporarily had the rights to a number of The Beatles' recordings they released an album called Jolly What! England's Greatest Recording Stars: The Beatles and Frank Ifield On Stage. The LP consisted of four studio Beatles songs (all previously released), plus eight recordings of Ifield. The original pressing has a drawing of a chubby old man with a moustache, and is itself quite rare.
The album is known for a mistake in the liner notes: "It is with a good deal of pride and pleasure that this copulation has been presented" -- presumably "copulation" should have been "compilation". It also was significant in that, until the release of the Beatles' 1973 compilation album, The Beatles 1962-1966, Jolly What! was the only American Beatles album to include "From Me to You."

M: Still sealed, obviously unplayed
NM: Record should look unplayed, shiny, glossy, no visible marks.
VG++: Very close to NM
VG+: Record may have a few minor marks or surface scuffs.
VG: Record will have light scratches, noticeable marks & surface noise may be apparent.
VG-/G: Record is rough & may be beat up a little bit.
