Beatles-    JOLLY WHAT!     " THE BEATLES & FRANK IFIELD " On Stage Vee-Jay -  VJS 1085.

Hello Beatle people!   This my friends, Is the Considerably Rarer stereo issue of this LP.   Stereo issue's of early Beatle LP's,  Especially Vee-Jay Lp's  are very much sought after,  Due in part to there scarceity.  For instance,  Vee- Jay  work paper's show that " JOLLY WHAT ",  Wich was released in late February, 1964,  Had gross sale's to distributors of 45,382  mono unit's,  By comparison of only 5,764 Stereo units that had sold by the end of March 1964.  So as the statistic's show,  Stereo copy's consisted of only 15% of the initial 51,136 overall copy's produced.

The Cover for this copy is Listed in the Bruce Spizer's,  " BEATLES ON VEE-JAY RECORD'S " reference guide as  VJ 1085. SC1.   The Stereo cover, is identical to the Mono cover,  except it has "STEREO" at the Top, and " VJS 1085 " on the upper right hand corner of the front  cover.  The Cover's Condition and discription is as follow's:  The front of the cover has some  light storage wear, But as the Picture's show it is for the most part nice and clean,  And the Colors are Bright and Vivid.   The Back of the cover is very Nice and white, It doe's however have some X's and check mark's, Next to 3 song title's.  It also has a name stamped on the top of the cover.  The Spine seams have some light wear, But for the most part they are in very good shape, with no splitting, And the Print is nice, clear & completely legible.  The top seam also has some light wear, with some minor checking, But No splits.  The bottom seam also has minor wear, But No splitting.   And all four corners have light wear, But they do NOT have any major Bend's or crease's.  Overall I grade the cover at VG++. 

The Label variation of this copy,   Is Listed in the Bruce Spizer, Guide as VJ 1085. SR3.  It features the all Black Label with silver print, and the Large "VJ" Logo.  It also has Left Justified artists-only Credit's, And Stereo centered above the Album number VJLP 1085 at 9 o'Clock. The Labels are in excellent condition,  With only a couple of faint spindle marks around the Playhole.  I grade the Label's at NM- .

The trail off area etchings of the Disc,  Are different on each side.  Side 1 Features the Matrix number is 64-3852-S,  And the job Number 6298,  It also has the faint hand etched "RA" initials.   Note!  The " MR " Logo is scratched over.  This variation was manufactured fom metal part's previously used by Monarch Records.   Side 2 Feature's the Matrix Number  64-3853-S,  And Job Number 6298X,  And the date 1-26-64, And the Initials  " RA ".   Again the " MR " Logo is scratched over,  And was Manufactured by Monarch Records, Metal parts.  The Record Vinyl for this item is in excellent condition,  With only two very faint angel hair scratches on side 1.  Overall I Grade the vinyl at NM-.
