Ich brauche wieder mal mehr Platz, also habe ich aufgeräumt - diesmal meine Obskuritäten-Ecke. Somit habt ihr jetzt die Gelegenheit, euch eine Menge abstruser Schallplatten anzueignen. Das Programm geht von Exotica über Easy Listening, schräge Schlager, Pseudo-Psychedelisches, Frivoles und mehr bis hin zu einfach richtig guten außergewöhnlichen Platten, die nur selten zu finden sind. Ein buntes Sammelsurium schräger Kleinode.

I need more space, so I offer a whole lot of incredibly strange records ranging from Exotica, Easy Listening, strange Schlagers, pseudo psychedelic monstrosities and frivolities to some really good off the wall records, which are rather hard to find these days.

Schicker, smoother Jazz-Pop mit - der LP-Titel deutet es dezent an - Bossa-Nova-Einschlag. Joni James war schon seit Mitte der 50er ein echter Pop-Star in den USA und der große Antonio Carlos Jobim war immerhin so angetan von der Dame, dass er ihr die auf dieser LP enthaltenen Songs "Dindi" und "Once I Loved" auf den Leib schrieb. Und das soll doch was heißen. Prima Mono-Original.

m-: wie neu / like new
ex : fast wie neu, keine oder nur minimale Nebengeräusche / almost like new; only very, very minor background noises or none at all.
vg+: Haarkratzer, möglicherweise leichte Nebengeräusche, aber nichts Dramatisches / hairscratches; occasionally there is background noise, but nothing dramatical.
vg: leichte Oberflächenkratzer, etwas Knistern oder vereinzelte leichte Knackser möglich, aber immer noch gut hörbar / slight surface scratches, a bit of crackle and/or a few light clicks might be possible - but still an enjoyable record.
vg-: Hörbar, aber für Sammler wird's hier kritisch, da die Nebengeräusche auch mal störend sein können / Here it becomes critical for collectors; the background noise can sometimes be rather strong.
