Joni Mitchell
Archives Volume Two: The Reprise Years (1968-1971)

10 LP Box Set
Brand New, still Sealed in Original Factory Packaging

Official Unboxing Video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGD0QwjufM0

DETAILS:

This Archives, Vol II 10LP set on 180-gram includes a booklet illustrated with many unseen photos from Mitchell’s personal collection as well as new liner notes featuring conversations about the time period between writer/filmmaker Cameron Crowe and Mitchell.

The tracks on Archives Vol II have been sequenced chronologically to follow Mitchell in real time through one of the most creative periods of her career. The collection uncovers several unreleased Mitchell originals, including “Jesus” recorded in 1969 at her friend Jane Lurie’s New York apartment in Chelsea, which also served as the setting for the song “Chelsea Morning.”

Other highlights include Mitchell’s performance at Le Hibou Coffee House in Ottawa on March 19, 1968 that was recorded by Jimi Hendrix and a concert at the Paris Theatre in London on October 29, 1970 that was broadcast on the BBC. The latter includes several songs destined to appear on Blue the following year: “Carey,” “River” and “My Old Man.” In addition, singer-songwriter James Taylor joined Mitchell to perform with her during the second half of the show.

GRADING:

We always Grade very strictly and provide accurate descriptions of actual condition. Visual Grading is determined as follows:

 MINT (M)

Truly “As New”, as it was when it left the factory. No scuffs, scratches, flaws, defects, marks or any other indications of being handled or played.

 NEAR MINT
 (NM)

Vinyl is virtually flawless, very bright and shiny, no scuffs, scratches or marks of any kind. May have been played but very sparingly. Disc will play with no audible noise. Label is bright, clean and unmarked.

 NEAR MINT
 MINUS (NM-)

Still no scratches and nearly flawless, may have the tiniest of small scuffs, a light finger mark or two, labels are clean and unmarked.

 VERY GOOD
 PLUS (VG+)

May have 1-3 very minor, barely visible scuffs (such as from brushing of a fingernail or contact with the inner sleeve), possibly a hairline scratch or two or very light, small finger marks: nothing that is obvious or would affect play. Vinyl bright and shiny, possible light spindle marks.

 VERY GOOD
 (VG)

Some visible surface wear, such as minor scratches or scuffs. Vinyl will still have good luster. Labels may have minor imperfections (small stickers, initials, light spindle marks, etc.), but otherwise clean.

 COVERS:

 MINT

Absolutely flawless; no corner dings, marks, writing, tears, dents, fading, discoloration, impressions from the disc or other flaws.

 NEAR MINT

Only very minor signs of edge/corner wear or a faint hint of cover impressions from the disc ("ring wear"); none that are too noticeable or that interfere with the complete integrity of the Artwork.

 VG+

May have some minor ring wear, or very light corner bumps or creases. No seam splits, wrinkles, puckers or writing on the cover. Artwork is clean and unworn and there is no ink wear or fading.

 VG

Cover is clean but may have minor writing or marks, slight wear. Moderate ring wear, possibly resulting in minor loss of ink. There may be slight discoloration or very light staining, minor seam wear but no splits or cracks. Corners may have small creases, mild fraying or light bumps.
