Description
A double LP set of Joni Mitchell and James Taylor performing individually and together in London during their 1970 tour. The concert was originally recorded on October 29, 1970 by the BBC and and broadcast as part of their "Pick of the Pops" series. This US edition was issued by radio syndicators Westwood One as part of their Pop Series. These discs were sent to American radio stations for broadcast in September 1987.
As described in a Westwood One advertisment (copy included) "this classic performance features Joni's "Carey," "That Song About the Midway," "Gallery" and "Priest" and James' "Rainy Day Man," "Steamroller," and "Carolina on My Mind." Then, both artists take the stage to blend voices on "California," "He Played Real Good For Free," "The Circle Game," and "You Can Close Your Eyes."
Both discs are in mint condition; the original cue sheet and generic sleeve is included.
We grade all records visually, cover first, then disc; using the abbreviations M / NM / EX / VG with + and -. We try to describe everything as accurately as possible, and spot check any vinyl flaw that looks like it might make a sound. We regularly receive praise for our grading, but as all grading is subjective, we are happy to give a full refund for anything you aren't happy with no questions asked.Unlike some eBay sellers, we don't feel the need to hype records by including long reviews or albums, quoting lyrics, making up arcane variations. We just grade accurately, describe any flaw, and sell only high quality rare records in fine condition.
