At auction is the mega rare "Dead Man" by Josefus lp. I acquired this from a friend in Houston who unfortunately wanted to proclaim his original ownership of the lp by writing his name on the front and back of the cover. He always talked about how wildman Doug Tull, the drummer, would often ask anyone who didn't like their performance if they wanted to receive a good-old Texas ass-kicking! I grade the cover at VG because of the writing. The vinyl has it's original sheen - I downgrade it from a M- to a VG+++ [ just a shade below M- ], because there is a very light hairline scuff or scratch on each side of the lp; the type that disappears into the sheen of the vinyl when viewed under a direct 100 watt bulb - if it was a heavier scratch, it would not disappear in the sheen. Play is also not affected by these hairlines. There are a couple of light spindle marks on each label - but the lp has been played so little that it fits tightly on the spindle. I've taken close-up pictures of both sides of the cover, as well as edges of the cover. The pressing quality of this Hookah release is probably not as good as their Mainstream lp, but it is made up for by their rough and raw attack on this first release. I've collected vinyl since I was a teenager in the 1960's, and bought and sold at the Austin record convention since the early 1990's, so I know how to grade vinyl. I'll quote uninsured Media shipping at $4, but I often recommend shipping valuable lps in regular lp mailers, which are then placed in a padded pizza sized box to avoid any bent corners, etc. I can quote this type shipping after the auction. Shipping outside of the United States will be quoted after the end of the auction. If you're not happy with your purchase, you can return the lp at your cost.
