Description
JOSEPH (JOE) COCO -- Never Satisfied -- hard to find, original 1979 U.S. album, autographed by Coco on front cover upper left corner and back cover bottom right. Obscure late 1970's private press/outsider Rock LP with urban, East Coast vibe and long, intricate story-songs like "New York's Got It Down," "Pass The Best & Never See" and "Upon My Epitaph", obviously influenced by Springsteen's early albums. Coco's unique vocals take some getting used to: they've got a real 1970's confessional, funky Jersey white boy feel somewhere between Thin Lizzy, Billy Joel and Jim Croce -- but after a few listens they grow on you and are really pretty cool in an offbeat, outsider way. Front cover photos of Coco in bathrobe and wacky illustration of him on record labels are downright bizarre. Includes photo insert stating that this was the first full-length album recorded in Flagstaff, Arizona (!) This was Coco's first album; he continues to paint and put out CD's privately (under the name "Joe Coco") in the Pennsylvania area. See photo for track list. Gatefold cover: VG+, ring wear and wear at corners, autographed front & back, small circular pen marks on back near two song titles, removable price sticker upper right front. Record: VG+++/Near Mint-, on Luminarios Music private label, U.S. press.
