Description

 JOSEPH – STONED AGE MAN (ORIGINAL US-PRESS)

On offer is the first and only album of Joseph on Scepter Records (SRM/SPS 574) from 1970.
This is without doubt one of the greatest Blues-Rock-Psych LPs from this period.
Superb melodies and dynamic lead vocals from a singer with a really great voice.
See the man on the cover and you’ll get an idea...
Every track on this record is a winner, especially the uptempo cover of ‘House Of The Rising Sun’.

The COVER is VG++  
Very slight edge creasing and of course a ‘used look’ but strangely enough (for a black US-Cover) nearly no ringwear !  (the white on the left as seen on the photo is a reflection)

The RECORD is VG
The record has a constant slight to medium crackle due to a lot of hairlines but it’s excellent produced so the noises are mostly audible between the songs and during the softer songs (but there aren’t many).
As a record collector myself, I was totally satisfied with this LP....but I found a slightly better one and therefore this one is on offer now.
