JOSEPH - Stoned Age Man
Long deleted 1970 U.S. psych rarity with great condition vinyl and equally impressive stereo quality
Solid excellent (EX) condition vinyl - completely flat, weighty and retaining it's original and impressive jet black sheen. Little marked and it is only with close inspection under a bright light that just a few extremely light handling/paper scuff lines come into view - each non-obvious and certainly non-feelable, superficial and not impinging upon the wonderful sound quality - along with just a few very, very light "shadow" marks on each side - very trivial and barely noticeable, even at close quarters. Near mint (NM) condition labels : pristine, with not even the usual one or two small and extremely faint spindle trails next to the centre hole. Remarkable for a 54 year old record such as this, and further supporting the view that this record has only been very sparingly played. Very good (VG)) condition non-laminated outer sleeve manufactured from nice thick cardboard and with all of the edges remaining firm. As the photos testify, however, the outer sleeve does have some blemishes : intermittent mild scuffing on each edge, mild rubbing on each corner (though the corners themselves do remain nicely defined right angles), mild ring wear towards the top and bottom edges on both the front and reverse sides, some light and non-obvious diagonal surface creasing/crinkles towards the corners, and the occasional very, very light handling/storage mark. Still very presentable and still fully functional, but clearly with some mild blemishes. Excellent plus (EX+) stereo audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, clicks, distortion, or interference and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum - negligible in fact. What a great album this is with every track standing the test of time and remaining a great listen. Comes with original and plain brown inner sleeve with no seam splits and just some mild corner creasing. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. A very nice copy of this long deleted and extremely rare U.S. 1st pressing with the sparingly played vinyl and terrific stereo sound quality being true highlights : a true psych gem!

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
