Description
You are looking at an unplayed emerald green vinyl 12”45 rpm EP ‘An Ideal For Living’ by Joy Division on Anonymous Records. I purchased this record some 5-8 years ago from a famous English record shop that has been running mail order since the 70s that is well known for having unsold, unplayed mint vinyl stock going back to the 70s. I have a 7”, so as I say, I’ve never played this version.
Immediately after purchase, I removed the single from the handsome inner sleeve (see the pics), sheathed the outer sleeve heavy duty clear PVC gatefold outer sleeve and slid the record into a high quality polylined paper inner. The album has been stored carefully ever since in my smoke-free home.
I would grade this record as Near Mint to Mint ( as I say, it is unplayed, but I reserve Mint grading only for items that are still sealed in shrinkwrap) and the same grading for the sleeve. The inner is Mint- Near Mint.
Incidentally, this is of course NOT the RSD edition.
The record will be supplied in the PVC outer sleeve and the record will stay in the ploylined inner too. Packaging will be a professional cruciform cardboard mailer source from Covers33, the record collecting accessories dealer all the pros use.
