Description
JOY DIVISION: Closer - First Edition Vinyl LP
UK 1981 Pressing Factory Records (FACT 25 FACT XXV)
This is one of the first edition releases, identified by the A1/B1 matrix and OLD BLUE? in the code. It comes with the rough textured sleeve and the original inner, which is also rough textured and has square (not rounded) corners.
There are lots of superficial surface marks on the vinyl (no scratches). However it has been through a record cleaning machine and plays much better than it looks. Visually I’d grade it VG, but it plays EX, so I have compromised at VG+.
White textured outer sleeve is surprisingly clean for its age, with a clean spine and very little signs of wear. There is what looks like one faint pen mark on the front (see photo).
The inner sleeve has been kept separate since new, so shows very little wear, but has a couple of marks on it (see photos).
I am selling other Joy Division records and am always happy to combine postage.
Matrix Runout Codes:- FACT 25 A1 OLD BLUE? FACT 25 B-1
Notes for buyers:-
This record will be cleaned before posting.
It will be sent in a record mailer, with stiffeners, taken out of its cover and all put in a plastic sleeve.
If there is a printed inner, the record will be packed in a new generic white one and the original inner packed alongside the other items in the plastic sleeve.
Your record will be fully tracked and insured.
The postage price reflects our efforts to ensure your record arrives safely whilst also trying to keep the P&P costs as low as possible.
