Description
From the archive of original Joy Division/New Order manager Rob Gretton (1953-1999), a rare Lithuanian (!) first pressing of Joy Division's album Unknown Pleasures on Zona/Factory Records (FACT10/ZONA ZN006,). The matte non-textured sleeve is printed on rough stock, and in EX condition, with some light general wear. The disc is NM and looks unplayed. The labels are black print on both sides on white labels, unlike the UK edition which had one black and one white label. With double sided insert with credits. There can't have been many of these pressed.
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures LP on Factory Records / Lithuanian 1st issue. Artwork as per UK version, matt non-texture rough sleeve, plain inner sleeve with double sided printed insert, back cover artwork adds Zona Records credits. Labels are black print on white both sides rather than one white, one black as per the original edition, 1993.
This copy is from the archive of Joy Division/New Order manager Rob Gretton (1953-1999). This was part of Gretton's personal collection, and we obtained it directly from Gretton's partner, Lesley Gilbert.
We grade all records visually, cover first, then disc; using the abbreviations M / NM / EX / VG with + and -. We try to describe everything as accurately as possible, and spot check any vinyl flaw that looks like it might make a sound. We regularly receive praise for our grading, but as all grading is subjective, we are happy to give a full refund for anything you aren't happy with no questions asked.
Unlike some eBay sellers, we don't feel the need to hype records by including long reviews or albums, quoting lyrics, making up arcane variations. We just grade accurately, describe any flaw, and sell only high quality rare records in fine condition.
