YOUR SATISFACTION IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY!In this offering we have MORITURI TE SALUTANT by JOY DIVISION, an original (first) West-German pressing released in an edition of 500 for JD fans; it is stated as #2 of 500. The flimsy jacket shows signs of handling and long-distance travel with light ring wear back surface, gently bumped corners and minor wrinkles bottom left corner (see photos). Even with these slight flaws the cover certainly rates a strong EX.
The album is SEALED in clean, loose wrap (no heat used on the finished product at any time) most likely done by a US wholesaler or a previous owner. The LP has been stated as "at least MINT MINUS (visually) with a play grade of strong NEAR MINT." The record is pressed on black vinyl and contains the so-called "proper" labels to designate a true first pressing, December 1984. In addition, the piece comes with an insert stating the limitation number.
As an extra bonus, a certified copy of the death certificate of IAN CURTIS is included with the LP. This certificate was made at the records bureau in the County of Cheshire on July 14, 1982, and is an official or "certified" document of an entry pursuant to the Births and Deaths Registration Act of 1953. It is numbered GA 270370.
