WELCOME TO OUR AUCTION!
On offer today an original 1981 uk issue of Joy Division's 'Still' 2 LP set on Factory records! Also included in this sale an original uk 12" issue of 'Love will tear us apart' from 1980! (FAC 23 12) Check out the photos!
This was the final Joy Division release for almost 7 years until 'Substance' in 1988 and was first issued in a hard card 'Hessian' covered sleeve. Soon after the 2nd issue came with a textured embossed die-cut sleeve (This one)
This is the original 1981 uk 2nd pressing (FAC 40) on Factory records complete with original textured and embossed gatefold sleeve with grey inners! Also comes free with the original 12" of 'Love will tear us apart' (FAC 23 12) from 1980 which is complete with fully laminated sleeve and inner!
Records VG+ Records are in great condition with virtually no wear! There are a few medium marks that don't effect play on side 2 of disc 1, On the other sides there is only the lightest of signs of use and both sides have been play tested and sound loud, clear with no problems. Also still retains that just pressed finish!)
Sleeve VG The Sleeve is in very good strong condition with zero splits, tears, slight browning round the sides but nothing serious, The only thing I would say is that there was some writing on the front which appeares to be rubbed out, but to be fair it looks ok and certainly doesn't spoil the look of the LP, altogether it's very good. (I've seen a lot worse!)
The free record with this sale is an original 1980 12" issue of 'Love will tear us apart' c/w 'These Days' and 'Love will tear us apart' (alternate version) the sleeve is VG. The record is VG+. Plays beautifully!

- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
- EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
- VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
- GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
- FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
- POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
- BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
