 JOY DIVISION STILL 2xLP GATEFOLD
(FACT 40)

ORIGINAL 1981 FIRST PRESSING IN HESSIAN GATEFOLD BOOK
AND CARD GATEFOLD INNER SLEEVE, BOUND WITH WHITE RIBBON.
VINYL INNER SLEEVES WITH ROUNDED CORNERS.

Overall, Using Record Collector grading, I would class the complete package as being in very good condition.
But considering this is 29 years old it is a conservative estimate. You will not be disappointed

The sleeve shows light signs of wear and yellowing from age/light.
The front of the hessian sleeve has a light red coloured pencil mark, starting an inch from the Factory logo to the right hand edge (This is barely visible in the 1st photo).

The reverse of the hessian sleeve has a 1cm square mark on the left hand side (visible in the 2nd photo).

The delicate looking white ribbon has yellowed and frayed slightly.

(It is possible the hessian and ribbon could be cleaned but I have not tried)

The inner gatefold shows a few small spot marks.
The inner top left hand edge has a 2cm scuff (visible in 4th photo)

The two inner sleeves are in great condition.

The two pieces of vinyl show signs of being played. There are light surface marks but all four sides play well without jumps or significant surface noise. The vinyl has been very well protected as they are stored in inner sleeves, inside a gatefold, inside the hessian book.

The Townhouse manufactured vinyl has the famous run-off groove notations:
Side A: The Chicken Wont Stop

Side C: -< -< -< -<
Side D: The Chicken Stops Here

I have owned this since the early 90's. The condition is much the same as I acquired it.
I tended to play the CD more than this.
