Description
This is an original 1981 pressing of the Double LP STILL by Joy Division
with the Hessian sleeve and with the ribbon still attacked and fully intact.
Due to the enormouse amount of money it cost to make this LP they only
pressed 5000 of these . Demand outstripped this many many times over making this an instant collectable .
Without and shaddow of a doubt the most beautifully made LPs in existance .
Its more like a photo album than a record album . Maybe thats why Hannett did the first 5000 this way , so the fans could open the album play the records and look back....
Garrod and Lofthouse did an outstanding job for factory records . If you have never seen this LP in the flesh you really need to to appreciate the beauty of this item.
The condition of the outer sleeve is the best ive ever seen . Due to the hessian it tends to be a magnate for dirt and grease this one is really clean so Exellent+. The inner sleeves have slight yellowing at the edges so Exellent-
The records are as close to mint as possible with hardly any evidence this item has been played .
If ever I saw a record that is going to be a great investment for the future it is this one . They dont make records like this any more and its pretty unbelievable that they did made this High quality product back then . I bet the record company lost a fortune on the first 5000 of these . A magnificent item . In Exellent + condition.
This item is abou 6 or more times heavier than a normal LP so I will add the P+P later during the listing .
