Description
Released in 1988, the Substance compilation filled in the missing pieces of Joy Division’s history with four non-album singles.
Featuring fan favourites and some of their most famous songs (not least the posthumous classic Love Will Tear Us Apart), the record is a huge favourite among fans, with many holding it in equal esteem to their landmark studio albums Unknown Pleasures and Closer.
As well as marking its first ever vinyl release, this reissue expands the collection with two additional songs - As You Said and the Pennine version of Love Will Tear Us Apart.
A must-have for any Joy Division fan!
