• Recorded in October/November 1979 at Cargo Studios, Rochdale.
• 1,578 copies were issued by the French record label Sordide Sentimental
• Inner band photograph is taken by Anton Corbijn who has directed the 2007 film Control.  He has remained a lifelong fan.

INFORMATION
This auction is for the original Sordide Sentimental release of the Licht Und Blindheit 7” single with two tracks, Atmosphere and Dead Souls.  This was issued originally in a very limited edition of only 1578.  This record came to me from Sordide Sentimental when it was released.  The record is in unmarked condition.  The three fold A4 size sleeve is in excellent condition with no major creases or signs of wear. Since I acquired this record it has been stored in a poly sleeve to protect it.

I have included a few photographs so that you can buy with confidence.  The picture with the edition number looks a bit foggy because it is taken through the “tracing” paper slot that holds the record.

This is an incredibly rare Joy Division record and rare to find in such good condition.  In the last year I have sold off lots of my punk/post punk 7” singles and have held onto some of the rarer records.  I have now decided to sell some of my Joy Division collection.  I am not a record dealer and hope that my records find their way into collections where they will be valued and looked after as I have done.  I welcome any questions, as I want you to be happy with your purchase.
