Description
JOY DIVISION: Still - Double LP Gatefold Release
Original 1981 Pressing Factory Records / Fractured Music (FACT40)
I played all 4 sides through before listing as the vinyl has a fair bit in the way of surface marks and scuffs on it. Sides 1 and 2 played pretty well, although there is a bit of crackle on some of the quieter bits or between tracks. Side 3 has a few clicks and pops in the first couple of tracks. Side 4 has a bit of a crackle and occasion click too, but better than Side 3. There are no sticks or skips. I just bunged up the volume up and thoroughly enjoyed it!
The price reflects the less than perfect condition, but this is still a great listen over 40 years on and has the first edition “Chicken Won’t Stop / Chicken Stops Here” matrix codes, so is collectible.
This gatefold is the grey cardboard embossed version, comes with the original grey cardboard inners, which have one rounded corner. They are all a bit grubby looking, partly due to the nature of the cardboard used.
