Description
Joy Division's UK debut vinyl Unknown Pleasures on Factory Records (FACT 10) from way back in 1979. The EX condition disc has enjoyed very little play, and in fact shows no evidence of any spindle marks. Hardly any marks may be discerned on the vinyl when critically examined under harsh halogen light and this disc plays as good as it looks, all the way through, both sides, with no clicks, no skips and no jumps. Although it is not translucent, this lovely slab of vinyl bears all the hallmarks of a very early pressing. Etched into the dead wax is: A PORKY PRIME CUT, FACT 10 - OUTSIDE 1 B S36 and 1; and on the other side: A PORKY PRIME CUT 1 STEP S34 FACT 10 - INSIDE 1 A. The beautiful Garrod & Lofthouse textured single sleeve amazingly remains in gorgeous EX-condition with just a little light edge/shelf wear and light corner bumps.
Good luck if you are bidding. I carefully package all rare vinyl with the disc removed from the sleeve to eliminate 'knifing' during transit.
