THE RECORD IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL FULLY TEXTURED BLACK SLEEVE WITH "Printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd." IN THE BACK BOTTOM CORNER (not present on the reissues)
COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL SQUARE CUT INNER SLEEVE WHICH IS CREAM IN COLOUR AND PRINTED ON MEDIUM WEIGHT LIGHTLY GLOSSY CARD
A true classic in both ways, the incredible Peter Saville sleeve and the album never ever heard something like this before when it came out (but you all know that)

Clean, bright and unmarked labels
VINYL Audio: EXCELLENT to EXCELLENT+
Stunning sound quality - crystal clear, deep, rich and up-front - impressively produced by Martin Hannett and cut by George Peckham (Porky).
My play-check at loud volume revealed practically nothing to fault - just a little surface on the some of the quietest sections (very minor and non-intrusive) - plays beautifully with no scratches, no loud clicks or pops and no groove-wear or distortion - lovely copy - clearly seen very little play - sounds sensational
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
Always a difficult sleeve to find in decent condition due to its untreated, textured and black nature but this one has held up remarkably well (very critically graded) with some rubbing left top and around the edges, very light ring/record impression- overall, a very fine example. Do not let the scan fool you, it was taken in bright light.
INNER CREAM SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
Very clean with only a couple of light marks, some ring/record impression, no seam splits or creasing - also a very fine example
