Here I have a copy of
Joy Division
'Unknown Pleasures'
on rare original translucent UK 1st pressing LP in textured picture sleeve with rounded cornered inner sleeve and paper labels
This pressing is the rare transluscent black vinyl and looks reddish / purple when held against a very strong light . This copy is very dark but the black vinyl has the translucent red coming through when held against a strong light source . It has the Garrod & Lofthouse textured sleeve & the matrices read S-14 FACT 10 - INSIDE 1 A A PORKY PRIME CUT 1 STEP & S-8 A PORKY PRIME CUT FACT 10- OUTSIDE - 1 B 1 THIS IS THE WAY
released on Factory Records FACT 10 in 1979
The condition of the record is very good + ( has a few light hairlines but plays through fine ).
The textured sleeve has ringwear, shelfwear and creasing on the edges .
The inner sleeve has ringwear, creasing & foxing marks.
The labels are clean with a few light spindle marks .
An original translucent UK 1st pressing !
