Description

*** Hello and WELCOME to Movies & More from Beyond the Door!!! ***

This auction is for ONE (1) ORIGINAL 12" VINYL LP ALBUM: JOY DIVISION - UNKNOWN PLEASURES.  SUPER HTF and OOP ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS 1980 FACTORY RECORDS release STILL IN VERY NICE SHAPE!  I bought this record recently from the original owner who purchased it new in the early eighties and, as you can see, he took very nice care of it!  The vinyl itself is what I would consider NEAR MINT CONDITION overall with GREAT playback!  Sounds incredible; VERY little surface noise!  Cover and inner sleeves are in great condition; MINOR wear/creasing on the back of the cover sleeve, edges and corners.  Inner sleeve has MINOR discoloration, some creasing and large seam splits (poor packing job

for shipment by original owner) BUT the cover sleeve is fine.  THIS IS A NICE, CLEAN COPY!

BELIEVE ME THIS RECORD LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER IN PERSON THAN IT DOES IN THE PHOTOS!  My camera picks up every little detail (and subsequently minor flaw [never even noticed the fingerprints on the cover sleeve before I saw these photos!]) so I just wanted to tell you YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS RECORD!  Look at the details in the 7th and 8th image I uploaded for a better idea of what it really looks like.  Has the tell-tale original cursive run-out etchings "I've been looking for a guide" and "Factus 1" and BEAUTIFULLY textured cover sleeve, too!  Printed on brown board.  I LOVE JOY DIVISION (AND FACTORY RECORDS)!!!
