You are looking at a UK pressing from 1979 of the Joy Division LP " Unknown Pleasures. This copy has the signature of legendary Factory Records musician and a member of the band, Peter Hook. The original shrink wrap is still on the sleeve and has been peeled back to allow Mr Hook to sign .
Signature obtained at a book launch in 2010 at Burnley Mechanics, see flyer on photographs for details.Note the flyer is not included in the item for sale.
Sleeve has been housed in plastic sleeve since day of purchase and stored correctly. Inner sleeve has been stored in the outer sleeve with the vinyl stored in a paper sleeve.
There is minimal spindle ware to the vinyl and it plays superbly on playback.
Spine of sleeve is clearly visible and lettering is clear.
Textured outer sleeve with printed glossy inner sleeve with square corners .
Vinyl is opaque solid black 1 stamper ring
Back cover reads FACT 10 A Factory Records Product printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod and Lofthouse Limited.
Inmer sleeve states Recorded at Strawberry Studios Stockport Factory 10 A Factory Records Product.
