An excellent 2x12” LP compiled(well, not of his own stuff though!) by Kei Kobayashi of Routine Jazz!! I don’t know how many of the tracks on this have been release on 12” or other format, yet the whole LP is quite fantastic!! A-1 is a wicked breakbeat jazz style track by Yukihiro Fukutomi + Canadian folk diva Ellen McIlwaine, with uptempo broken beats drums, groovy basslines, moody keys, space-y moog sounding synthe sounds + funky ‘n jazzy vocal by EM!! A-2 is a breakbeat style midtempo track, with exotic accordion sounds + deep male voice talking over the track(in French)!! B-1 is a superb cover version of Kitty Winte ‘s jazz classic track “new morning”, with broken beats, groovy basslines, space-y synthe sounds all over, musical acoustic guitar phrases and scatt-y female vocal!! B-2 is a wicked nu-bossa style track, with groovy bossa style beats + basslines, acoustic guitar phrases, flute, percussions + superb female vocal on top!! C-1 is a superb uptempo jazz fusion style track, with uptempo fusion jazz style beats, groovy basslines, percussion, musical piano phrases + male/female chorus style vocal on top!! C-2 is a breakbeat style remix for Femi Kuti’s afro funk classic Victim of life, with almost-house-tempo breakbeat drums, groovy basslines, funky horns, percussions + Femi’s vocal on top!! And D-1 is a wicked nu-jazz version of “Labor to endeavor”(which is also on a promo 2x12” “Japanese new vibe” on my other auction, yet this one’s a totally different version!), with uptempo nu-jazz beats, groovy basslines, musical electric piano solo + deep male voice talking over the track!! D-2 is a nice deep soul jazz classic track by Determinations(original version)!! And D-3 has a Terry Callier’s soul jazz classic track “Ordinary Joe”(original version)!! An excellent LP over all, and even though this is from merely 2 years ago, this Routine Jazz comp series always gets very hard to come across!! VG+ = may have more than a few light surface marks, but plays fine
VG = may have lots of surface marks, so it won’t look beautiful, but should play fine
G = may have audible flaws(in which case, the defect will be stated)

Gradings for the jacket:
NA = comes in plain black/white sleeve(in this case, the plain sleeve maybe in G – VG++ condition)
VG++ = no visible flaw such as seam split, bend, price sticker, writings etc..
VG+ = general wear, but nothing serious
VG = minor seam split、price sticker residue etc..
G = water damage, major seam split(more than 2”)
