Description

JR Monterose: "The Message" 1959, USA/JARO International JAM 5004. Disc has some light surface marks, it gets a VG+ visual grade but it plays perfectly M- with no surface noise at all. Both labels have some spindle marks. Cover has some very minor wear on the unlaminated back side, A DJ corrected the length of one song in ballpoint pen (see detail pic), a couple of seam scrapes, the corner tips at the pocket opening are rubbed, still EX overall. Has the Company inner sleeve. This is an original promo copy; it has a promo sticker on the front cover and the labels are promo-designated. Great example of this very rare jazz album with Tommy Flanagan on piano, Jimmy Garrison on bass, and Pete La Roca on drums.

I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the jackets to prevent seam splits, and all albums are dressed in plastic sleeves for travel. Please be aware that these supplies are expensive to purchase and represent a small portion of my shipping charges. I pack/ship one day per week, usually it is Friday.

USA: I can send this LP to you by Media Mail for $4.00, or by Priority Mail, which will be calculated after the auction using your zip code. Most of my customers prefer Media Mail because it is very cheap. Please keep in mind that it's cheap because it is SLOW. I have had Media Mail boxes take two months to travel cross-country.

CANADA: If you are in Canada, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $14.00.

MEXICO: If you are in Mexico, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $18.50.

EVERYWHERE ELSE: If you are not in the USA, Canada, or Mexico, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $20.00.
