TOLKIEN - Reads and Sings his THE HOBBIT and THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING. 12" Vinyl Disc on Caedmon Records TC1277 UK Stereo Long Playing Microgroove Album 1975. ORIGINAL FIRST BLACK VINYL "MADE IN U.S.A" PRESSING ON GREEN/BLUE CAEDMON LABEL WITH MATT "SHOREPAK England" SLEEVE AND PAPER INNER. Condition: VG+(very light storage wear, clean and white, small surface sticker tear top left corner)/EX+(very light surface marks, very light spindle wear).

This recording is based on a tape recording Tolkien made in Malvern, Worcestershire during August 1952. Cool original Tolkien The Hobbit artwork!

Now out of print. A rare oppotunity to hear Tolkien read his own masterpiece works!!

This is the rarer UK issue with the US pressed vinyl inside a "Shorepak by Shorewood Packaging Co.Ltd., England" sleeve, in hardly played condition!!!
