J.S. Bach Violin Sonatas 1 & 2 Johanna Martzy UK Columbia 33CX 1286
On this extremely rare record, Johanna Martzy performs the Bach “Violin Sonatas No’s 1 and 2”. An English mono pressing on the Columbia Label (33CX 1286), the labels are dark blue with gold lettering and a groove, and this is a pancake pressing. The record is of worn appearance with some light scuffs, and plays and sounds superb with consistent surface noise and some crackle and occasional click. The cover is a little grubby and has a water stains along the right-hand edge.
