Description

Three Sonatas for Cello and Clavecin, written in Keten 1720, are the finest pages of the entire instrumental creative work by Bach and the most valuable contribution in the field of chamber music. They are lofty in style, rich in melody and the use of idioms in them is greatly restricted.

Cello played by Daniel Shafran, Clavecin by Andrei Volonsky.

This recording, on blue Melodya, would probably be very hard to find another time, especially in this condition.
