Red/Silver Label Stereo Original 1st pressing 1971 UK  LABEL / LABELCODE  MATRIX NUMBERS  EXTRAS  GRADING  Regal Zonophone SLRZ 1018  YCARX /75-1G & 76-1G  Textured Flipback Single Cover  M-/VG+ DESCRIPTION The JSD Band were one of the leading folk-rock bands of the Seventies and were very influential on the folk scene during the boom years. This first album began to spread their reputation nationally and attracted the attention of Radio DJ John Peel who wrote the sleeve notes for their next two albums. The album featured a combination of traditional Scottish, Irish, American, and to a lesser extent, English songs and instrumentals and original compositions - this combination was to feature on all their subsequent recordings. CONDITIONS RECORD: Visually both sides are deep shiney black and have all of its original gloss, seen in critical 100W light! Both sides are in NEAR MINT (M-) condition with no marks. Almost no clicks, pops or crackles. No scratches. Pure and clean sound quality!! Only a few plays!!!! LABELS: Both labels in NEAR MINT (M-) condition with no spindle marks. COVER: Textured single flipback cover in good conditon! No creases. No tape. No splits. No writings, no stamps, no stickers. Only a sticker tear (repaired) and a little cut-hole on top right, slight corner wear. Little ring wear! This wonderful unlaminated cover is a at least VERY GOOD+!
