On offer here is a VERY rare LP by Judas Priest - Killing Machine in red translucent vinyl, far rarer than the black vinyl one which is quite easy to find. This copy is in a very desirable and collectable EX+ condition.


With a slight tweak in simplicity following the more complex Stained Class, came inevitable accessibility to a broader audience with Killing Machine.  Their previous outings helped influence the NWOBHM and Thrash movement, and here they continued to influence both, but also helped influence the Glam Metal movement that wasn't to far away either. This was in large down to their more simplified approach, there are more mid tempo stompers in place of more familiar vicious, sinister rockers on this album, and generally the tone of the album has a tough, mean swagger, rather than the sinister unsettling tone used previously.   A special mention is required for the two most blistering tracks on the album, stunning opener Delivering the Goods, and all time heavy metal gem, Hell Bent for Leather.




Vinyl: EX+.  Both surfaces have a just over the counter sheen. Just a couple of paper retraction traces under a strong light. There are no hairlines or marks. Probably only played once or twice. The LP plays to an extremely high standard with superb clarity, no groove-wear and no distortion and is very strictly graded a strong EX+ for audio. One small name on one of the labels.

  A great copy!! Of course, NO skips, NO jumps, NO ticks.





 Sleeve: VG+ to EX.  A nice example. The spine is 100% as is the super crisp opening. This is in great condition and barely ever found like this. Tiny micro corner "bumps" and only the lightest of storage wear which is very near negligible. Please have a look at all pictures to inform your bid. Of course  NO tears, NO creases and NO writing.
