This is a RARE AND AMAZING ORIGINAL UK WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING HEAVY METAL ALBUM by JUDAS PRIEST - SAD WINGS OF DESTINY from 1976, ORIGINAL UK TEST PRESSING ALBUM IN NEAR MINT CONDITION !!!

This is a VERY RARE UK TEST PRESSING of JUDAS PRIEST second album "SAD WINGS OF DESTINY", this album was probably the land mark album for the bandthat saw them firmly in the HEAVY METAL style and also influenced so many of the NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL bands in years to come. Not only that but both the TEST PRESSING album and the PICTURE SLEEVE come in amazing NEAR MINT CONDITION !!!
The matrix numbers are: SIDE A: GULP 1015-A1 and C and 1 on the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions, SIDE 2: GULP 1015-B1 and A and 1 on the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions.

This copy came from a retired RECORD COMPANY EXECUTIVE (as mentioned above), hence this is a TEST PRESSING that was made way before the finished copies were made  !!!

The ALBUM was pressed by GULL RECORDS catalogue number GULP 1015.

The condition of the VINYL is EX+++++/ NEAR MINT condition (LOOKS UNPLAYED !!!), PICTURE SLEEVE is in amazing EX++/EX+++ condition (with no splits and a fully intact spine, AMAZING) ALSO COMES with THE ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVEin EX condition with no splits !!!

Just been told that this is a TEST PRESSING of the second issue distributed and pressed by PYE in 1977 !!!
The original pressing from 1976 was distributed and pressed by DECCA RECORDS and had different matrix numbers XSAL-14374.P and XZAL-14375.P with respective 1W or 2W afterwards !!!
