JUDY BAILEY TRIO & QUINTET “My favourite things” VINYL LP Title/I believe in you/Real live girl/What kind of fool and I/Somewhere/I’ve got your number/Irma La Douce (aussie) CBS BP 233262 MONO (in flip-back picture cover)
( I can’t really find a date for this, but I would say it is 1965 , based on the fact that the CBS cat # BP 233262 is very near Bob Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited LP record on CBS, mono BP233279 which came out in 65. Liner notes also mention that she is a frequent performer at the El Rocco jazz club in Sydney that was located off Kings Cross during the 1960’s. Original pressing with flip-back cover. John Sangster on drums, Ed Gaston on bass. Unfortunately I don’t have my stereo to listen to vinyl here in Canberra, but liner notes indicate that ‘What kind of fool am I’ is a bossa nova arrangement.)
VISUAL GRADE: both disc and cover I’ve graded EX- to EX. This is a nice copy that’s almost EX/EX. Vinyl is very clean except for some light scuffs here and there and an odd very light mark or two. Vinyl is on the good side of EX- and will probably play EX or better. Cover is also clean but has just a hint of ring-wear under strong light. Cover has no bends or spine damage, no writing or sticker marks just an imprint of a price in the top corner that you are only going to notice if looking for it under strong light.
