JUDY GARLAND & GENE KELLY - "Me and My Gal" - RARE 78

Offered in this lot is a 12" single-faced MGM Studio disc of JUDY GARLAND and GENE KELLY performing "Me and My Gal" from the motion picture.  The disc is dated May 29, 1942 and carries the production designation AC610 and disc number 26636.  Encircling the label in the inner-land area is etched the production information and the notation "Tech. Test 3108".   The disc begins with tempo marking by the conductor and was intended for studio use only.  The disc is in amazing condition with no cracks, chips, needle digs, heavy scratches or heavy surface wear.  There are just the lightest of marks to the playing surface.  The label is immaculate.  The "b" side is blank except for a black label.  No doubt a unique item in great condition. The commercial release is a different recording and was issued on a 10" 78 rpm disc.   This may very well be "one of a kind".  PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CLOSELY:  DO NOT SEND PAYMENT UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED MY OFFICIAL ebay INVOICE.  Postage expense will be quoted on my official winning bidder ebay invoice following the close of the auction and will always be based USPS Media Mail (including Delivery Confirmation and full-value insurance) for domestic US shipments and USPS Air Parcel Post (including full-value insurance) for ALL foreign shipments.  NO exceptions will be entertained in regard to shipping method.  US$5.00 will be added to the winning bid to cover handling and proper packing expense.
