Description

Juicy Lucy was formed in 1969 from former members of The Misunderstood, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Bluesology, Graham Bond Organisation, and Van Der Graaf Generator. The group had an immediate Top 20 hit with a heavy version of Bo Diddley's "Who Do You Love?"   Tha track is naturally included on this, their debut album, released on Vertigo(VO2) which showcases the band's powerhouse blues-rock style. The album's cheeky gatefold sleeve, showing burlesque artiste Zelda Plum wearing nothing but some strategically placed fruit, inevitably cause some controversy, ensuring the newly formed band some welcome publicity.

Tracks: Mississippi Woman / Who Do You Love? / She's Mine / She's Yours / Just One Time / Chicago North-Western / Train / Nadine / Are You Satisfied?

This is the original release of this rare, and very collectable album with the Vertigo spiral label and inner sleeve.

Condition: The disc is VG+ - a few surface marks, but no playing problems; the sleeve does have some wear at the open edge and on the spine, so Good.
