This is an original UK FIRST PRESSING of the ridiculously rare Juicy Lucy LP by Juicy Lucy . It is on the superb Swirls/Spiral Vertigo record label . Vertigo records is without doubt the most collectible record label in the world. This LP is one of the more difficult to find Vertigo LP`s as it was one of the FIRST SIX VERTIGO LP`s to be put out. This is confirmed by the text A PHILIPS RECORD PRODUCT printed in solid black beneath the VERTIGO block printed logo center bottom on the label beneath the words JUICY LUCY. So get your own copy out and check if it has the PRP text, if it does not your holding a later pressing and not one of these seriously rare FIRST PRESSINGS . These first press Vertigo`s are near impossible to find as the years go by and in the rare condition that we have here,forget it.I have owned about 8 of copies of this LP over the years and this one is the best by far, in fact iv`e never seen another in condition this good ! Because these original first pressing sleeves were never laminated most of them have sustained serious damage. This one here is TOTALLY OUTSTANDING !Double click the pictures. This sleeve has the minimal amount of ring ware and the smallest amount of edge ware. Look at the colours in the lettering and the fruits still vibrant. Even the dark areas of the sleeve are very dark thus this sleeve has never been left in the daylight and left to suffer fading, beautiful. The spine in intact and all spinal writings can be read clearly. Inside this 48 year old Gate Fold sleeve the condition is beautiful. This sleeve grades a strong EXCELLENT. The original Vertigo inner sleeve is present and the cellophane is still completely attached, but it does have a 1 cm sellotape repair to it that has been done very well.One reason as to why its so hard to find an original copy of this LP in great playing condition is this is one of the Vertigo LP`s that is a brilliant rock LP from start to finish with no filler ,just great music all the way so many were played to death at parties etc. This record has been played but there are no spindle marks on either side of the labels to indicate this. And the labels on both sides are TOTALLY IMMACULATE .On side 1 I can see only a handful of the tiniest lightest hairlines these are only visible under my desk top spot light under a normal day room light there are not visible. Side 2 is the same story with one or 2 exceptionally light scuff marks that have no affect on the play back of this record.There is slight background noise and static in the dead wax areas but nothing that intrudes on any of the music the record plays entirely without jumps skipping or sticking and plays a good 9 out of 10. Both sides of the record still have that new look sheen to them. This LP is a loud fast hard rock LP that never holds back the music is LOUD and CRYSTAL CLEAR all the way.A GENUINE FIRST PRESSING on one of the first 6 Vertigo`s they ever put out. In EXCELLENT MINUS condition all round. EXCEPTIONALLY RARE in this condition ! So a great and a rare opportunity for you Vertigo collectors to enhance your already valuable VERTIGO collection and grab an upgrade of this seriously rare Vertigo LP !

This prevents further paper scuffs marking the vinyl when removing the record from the original inner sleeve and prolongs the condition of the original inner sleeve .
