Description

JUICY LUCY Lie Back And Enjoy IT Vertigo 6360 014 1970 UK LP Rare

UK Large Vertigo Swirl – Rare original with vinyl in VG+ condition.

Detailed Grading: -

Outer Sleeve: VG-

The heavy weight fold out 6 panel sleeve is in VG (minus) condition. It has numerous signs of wear, mainly to the spine which is heavily rubbed, some light staining to the front, and a small tear along one fold seam. It looks as though it may have been displayed at some point as it has small pin holes in each corner.   Despite these faults the cover still presents reasonably well. It is well used rather than trashed, and is a credible copy of what is after all a rare Vertigo original.

Vinyl: VG+

The vinyl is in VG+ condition and when viewed under bright halogen light it displays a moderate amount of generally light hairline marks, but none are overly deep. Playback is vibrant and clear with light audible surface noise through some sections of the record but nothing that is overly intrusive, i.e. no loud pops, clicks or bangs.

Labels: Excellent.  Light spindle marks can be seen when held under bright halogen light.

Vertigo Inner Sleeve:  VG.  The poly liner has come unstuck on one side, and it also has a reference to Status Quo on one side, indicating this sleeve came from another LP at some point. The seams are still fully intact and unbroken.

Overall this is a reasonable copy of what is a 1st press Vertigo rarity.

Postage and Packing:

All records are placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping.  Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s. These mailers are a high-grade type which reinforce the edges around the LP and as such they are larger and weigh more than standard mailers.  My postage costs reflect the additional size and weight of the packaging that I use.
