Description
Excellent Vertigo1st pressing of Juicy Lucy's eponymous & collectable 1969 recording with 'Philips' credit on large swirl label with gatefold sleeve. I have also included a home burnt CD copy of this actual album for sale so you can play in your car or burn to your own MP3 device,it's also a quick way to listen to the excellent original sound quality of the LP. Both labels are of excellent quality and show only small signs of misalignment with the record player spindle. Visual inspection show's few feint (some call these paper lines) lines on Side A & Side B with no impact on replay. The quiet passages show no sign of musical degradation with no pops or clicks, each gap between tracks shows the obligatory static hum and overall for a record that is now 44 years old is in remakable condition. Vinyl is bright & played very rarely on my Linn deck. The original Vertigo inner sleeve is in fine condition. Opening up the gatefold cover finds both inside pages to be in good condition with no marks or spills etc. The outer gatefold sleeve which lets face it was pretty daring for a record cover in 1969 shows wear along the spine, general wear across the cover and a tear that runs for about 2" from the edge of the top right hand front cover. That apart if you could find an exceptional cover and pair it with this LP then you have an even more valuable asset. Current (2014)Rare Record Price guide for this album in mint is £120, by using the Grading Ready Reckoner on page 1432 (if you have this copy) will give you an indication of where to bid. If of course the successful bidder is not satisfied then a full refund applies. There are not many of these copies around, especially 1st pressings so bid well & don't forget there is a genuine CD copy of this album included. Any other questions then please contact me.
Additional Info: Side A matrices are etched & stamped 847901 VO 12 Y A//1 420 113. Side B matrices are 847901 VO2 Y//2 420 115.
