Description
JULIANNA GARZA S.P. - "Communion Muse - Folkrock Prayers For Celebrating". (North American Liturgy Resources; 1973). RARE. (**Click on the pictures above for more info - *Double click for larger image**). *This is an original NM vinyl copy of this private soft folk psych LP from Cincinnati, Ohio. *Limited pressing. **Hear this cut on YouTube: "Communion Muse" = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjiySmzh7gw. ****Reviewed by Ken Scott in 'The Archivist - 4th Edition': "... fresh cutting-edge electric sound that blends folk with rock rhythms and dreamy pop ... psych-edged rockers like 'Uncertain Ride' and the bustling 'It's All Right' ... she deserves a seat right next to John Ylvisaker. Appealing basement folkrock warmth throughout, enhanced with flute, organ, harmonica, drums and lead electric guitar. Moody touches of wah-wah and echoey electric guitar add trippy edges to 'Migrant' and the title track, while 'Pardon Me' benefits from some nice bluesy electric guitar soloing. ... Definately not your usual nun thing, nor does it even sound paricularly Catholic ... Easily the best album on the NALR label (and most likely the rarest), as well as one of your overall top Christian female productions". **Vinyl is NEAR MINT. *Cover is still in original shrink wrap, there is an info sticker on the shrink wrap, number written in pen on the sticker. **USPS - Postage and handling options (We ship in new custom record mailers): *Domestic (USA): A) Media mail (slower) w/ 'Delivery Confirmation': $4.00.
