Hello everyone,
I'm selling a rare LP from 1970. A TIME BEFORE THIS - Julian's Treatment 2 LP 1970 YoungBlood SYB2 / SYB3 Matrix A1 / B1 A1 / B1 First Press
This double LP with laminated gatefold sleeve is a 1st pressing 1970 original tissue. Under a strong light each disc has two or three very fine, faint sleeve removal lines and a couple very light, faint imperfections. I grade them to be excellent plus. I have played them in full before this listing and they have a near silent background. They are black and shiny plus being dead flat. The sleeve has a few small creases and a touch of edge wear. I grade it as excellent minus. I have seen three of the same albums, only, and all had similar imperfections hence my grading.
The records were issued with bog-standard generic inners. I have replaced with two quality Columbia ones that were issued with their SAX series. Although the inners are poly lined I have slipped the discs into anti-static Nagaoka ones.
This progressive/art rock album tells of the last man on earth journeying through space in search for a new home. Today, even more relevant than 50 years ago. On release the record had very little publicity and didn't sell well. It was the only album the group recorded.
The group leader Julian Savarin came to the UK from Dominica in 1962. After Julian's Treatment he made a solo album 'Waiters On The Dance'. After he travelled around the world and became a successful author in Japan, Italy and beyond.

I graded the disc after listening fully on an all valve system using a Hana SL Shibata stylus. The discs have been cleaned on a Pristine Vinyl ' ViVac ' RCM. I have described the disc and sleeve as accurately and honestly as I find it. Please bid with the knowledge that if my descriptions are inaccurate I give a money-back guarantee. There is no reserve price set.
