Description
A great opportunity to buy a copy of a RARE VINYL DOUBLE LP from the 70's by Julian's Treatment called "A Time Before This".
The group features the talents of Julian Jay Savarin on keyboards and has Cathy Pruden on vocals.
This is the first pressing issue, released in 1970 on the Young Blood label ( SYB 2 & 3 )(stereo). It has a total of 10 chapters (tracks). See photos of the labels for their titles.
The record has a 2008 Rare Record Price Guide value of £130 for a mint copy.
The matrix numbers are:- SYB 2 A-1, SYB 2 B-1, SYB 3 A-1 and SYB 3 B-1.
The records are in a lovely, clean EXCELLENT condition, with only a few minor surface marks evident on sides one and two, under a bright light. Sides three and four are NEAR-MINT and there is just the trace of a spindle mark on each label (viewed under a bright light), to indicate they have actually previously been played. I have played the four sides and they play and sound superb.
The labels are free from any writing or major defects.
The records come in plain inner sleeves in EXCELLENT condition and are housed within a laminated gatefold cover in an EXCELLENT condition, with just some minor ring wear evident. The spine and edges are all sound. There is some sign of minor wear on the front ,where approximately one centimetre of laminate has been scratched (just on the S of the title).
