Original 1967 U.K. first issue mono pressing released on the Marmalade label 607002.
Description :
Very rare and hard to find jazz psych classic featuring their awesome rendition of Donovan's "This Wheel's On Fire". Produced by Giorgio Gomelsky.
In 1965 Auger formed the group The Steampacket, along with Long John Baldry, Julie Driscoll, Vic Briggs and Rod Stewart. With Driscoll and the band, Trinity, he went on to record several hit singles, notably a cover version of David Ackles' "Road to Cairo" and Bob Dylan's "This Wheel's on Fire". In 1969 Auger, Driscoll and Trinity appeared performing on the national telecast of "33? Revolutions Per Monkee" with the Monkees.
Condition ~ Vinyl :
The vinyl is in super clean EXCELLENT condition with only the faintest signs of wear and plays superbly throughout.
Condition ~ Sleeve :
The sleeve is in VG++ shape with just light overall edge wear and faint creasing but no tears or writing.
Condition ~ Labels :
Both labels are nice and clean showing only very light spindle wear. No writing.
