A truly excellent copy of this 1960 Julie London classic - class, laid back jazz from an enchanting songstress

The condition of both sides of the vinyl is near mint, each with a beautiful sheen. Even when scrutinised under a bright light it's difficult to identify the usual wispy hairlines - great condition throughout.

The front-side laminated outer sleeve is in excellent condition, with original, rich and vibrant colouring fully intact. There is no scuffing or creasing on any of the edges, the corners remain well defined, and the spine is rigid and unmarked. The rear side flipbacks are excellent with no fraying. On the front side there is just a hint of some ring wear, only noticeable when viewed at the right angle under a bright light; and on the reverse side there is some age discolouration and a little "grubbiness" towards the opening edge (see photos). Apart from that it is difficult to fault the sleeve - no creasing whatsoever, not even surface laminate creasing. The front side coloured photo is brilliant : bright colouring, nice sheen...near perfect.

 The quality of the audio is brilliant. You may detect the very occasional nano-second of static but really the audio is hard to fault. Class, laid back jazz with every bass note and every octave wonderfully clear, and glorious crystal clear vocals.

 Each label is excellent. Look closely under a bright light and there are a couple of small, mild spindle trails in evidence but apart from that truly excellent.

Comes complete with original poly-lined inner sleeve - no tears or splits but does have creasing towards the edges and suffers from age discolouration.

A lovely copy of this increasingly scarce (especially in this condition) super cool 1960 jazz classic.

Descriptions of any records I sell comply with the Rare Record Price Guide grading guidelines :

Mint

Description: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent

Description: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packag­ing might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good

Description: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable sur­face marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good

Description: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

Fair 

Description: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for prop­erly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor

Description: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad

Description: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
